THE RAINS THAT FALL:

a drip, a drop, a flood, a sprinkle, slivers of glass, echo present is past, future is last. the clouds pass you by, writing your name in the sky, in the sky.

at the end of the day, there’s nothing to say, it’s the end of the haul. the present, the past, it’s nothing at all but the rains that fall, on the ground, on the ground. the clouds passing by join blackbirds in a game, and they’re calling you by your name, by your name.
